Talk About Immersive is an initiative by WeMakeVR with a goal of sharing experience and rising awareness on Immersive Technologies.

We do this through speaking engagements, participating in mentoring-programs, industry advisory commitees, workshops and consultancy services.

Founded in 2013, WeMakeVR is one of the longest-running Immersive companies in the industry, and is an award-winning, internationally recognized pioneer. New York Times, Forbes, XRMust, Vrij Nederland and many others have written about WeMakeVR, covering it’s educational, healthcare and social purposes work as well as its commercial work. BBC world news has featured WeMakeVR with a prime-time 6-minute interview about VR applications that go beyond entertainment. In addition to its “Guinness Book of World Records”-listing, WeMakeVR has won multiple awards for narrative (Gouden Kalf nomination), innovative (European Excellence Award) and educational VR productions (Bright Award for ‘Best Health Application’), and continues to strive for innovation in storytelling and exploration of the new language of Immersive Experiences. 

In addition to creating works, WeMakeVR is a research-partner for institutions such as IDFA-DocLab/MIT, the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, and other knowledge institutions.  Another way in which WeMakeVR shares knowledges and experiences is by providing consultancy services to organisations, museums, cultural institutions, festivals and conferences with activities in the Immersive domain.
